Brahmashri Subramania Deekshitar was born on Vaishakha Shuddha prathamaa, in the 'Vikrama' samvatsara according to the Hindu Calender. On the completion of 70th year, 'Bheemaratha Shanthi' celebrations were held in accordance with the procedures assigned by the shastras.

As a part of the Bheemaratha Shanthi, Bhagavatha Saptaaham had been organised in Guruvayur in April 2010. From 11th to 14th May, several programmes were organised at Chromepet, Chennai, which included Narayaneeyam parayanam, Krishna Yajurveda Parayanam, and several upanyasams. The ceremonies concluded on 14th May, with the prescribed rituals for the Shanthi. On the occasion, the latest CD of Sri Deekshitar, 'Gajendra Moksham and Nala Charitham' was released.
